Delhi has been placed on high alert following intelligence inputs warning of potential terror attacks using improvised explosive devices (IEDs) at key installations across the national capital.
Security agencies have launched extensive checking drives and tightened surveillance at sensitive and high-footfall areas.
According to reports, intelligence agencies cautioned that terrorists could target important locations, prompting the Delhi Police to deploy additional forces and install barricades at strategic points.
Security has also been strengthened outside the Delhi BJP state office and the BJP national headquarters, where inspections and anti-sabotage measures are underway.
The alert comes weeks after the bust of Pakistan-linked terror modules, raising concerns about renewed threats. Authorities have urged citizens to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity immediately.
