The Delhi Capitals (DC) have officially signed Afghanistan’s talented batter Sediqullah Atal as a replacement for England’s Harry Brook, who has opted out of the TATA IPL 2025 due to personal reasons.

Atal, a promising left-handed batsman, has played 49 T20 matches and accumulated an impressive 1,507 runs since making his T20I debut in 2023. His inclusion in the DC squad adds depth to the batting lineup, offering another aggressive top-order option.

The Delhi Capitals acquired Sediqullah Atal for his base price of ₹1.25 Crore, securing a skilled player who has represented Afghanistan in all three formats of cricket. His ability to adapt across various conditions makes him a valuable asset to the franchise as they push for a strong finish in the tournament.
