In a testament to his enduring brilliance, Cristiano Ronaldo has been named the 2025/26 Saudi Pro League fans’ player of the season.
Despite being 40 years old, the Al Nassr skipper showcased elite performance throughout the campaign, receiving the Man of the Match award an astounding 15 times across 34 league appearances.
The announcement was made via the league’s official social media platforms, celebrating Ronaldo’s consistent impact and fan-favourite status.
The Portuguese striker, who recently extended his contract with Al Nassr for two more years, has amassed 93 goals and 19 assists in just 105 matches across all competitions since joining the Saudi club. However, the elusive league title still remains out of reach, with Al Nassr finishing third this season, just shy of qualifying for the AFC Champions League Elite. They will now participate in the AFC Champions League 2.
Beyond club accolades, Ronaldo continues to shine on the international stage. He recently added a third international title to his name as Portugal triumphed over Spain to secure the UEFA Nations League title.
The award cements Ronaldo’s legacy in Saudi football and affirms his unwavering connection with fans worldwide.
