In a tragic incident, a Class 10 student from Baripada village, passed away just hours before his scheduled Board Exams in Balasore district on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Chandrashekhar Majhi, a student of Uday Narayan High School.
According to reports, Chandrashekhar fell ill three days ago after consuming food at a community feast. Despite receiving medical treatment on Thursday, his condition did not improve, and he continued to suffer from stomach pain.
On the day of the exam, Chandrashekhar’s mother assisted him in getting ready for the exam centre at Kalyani Nuapur High School, located about five kilometres away. However, shortly after taking a bath, Chandrashekhar collapsed. He was rushed to the nearest hospital in Soro, where doctors declared him brought dead.
This shocking incident has left the local community in mourning.
