Megastar Chiranjeevi has made history by becoming the first Indian celebrity to receive the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award from the British government.
The award ceremony took place at the UK Parliament’s House of Commons in London on March 19, attended by dignitaries including Labour Party MPs Navendu Mishra, Sojan Joseph, and Bob Blackman.
Expressing immense pride, Andhra Pradesh’s Deputy Chief Minister and Chiranjeevi’s younger brother, Pawan Kalyan, described Chiranjeevi as both a father figure and a life guide. Actor Sai Dharam Tej, Chiranjeevi’s nephew, congratulated him as well, celebrating the achievement as a proud moment for Telugu cinema.
Fans greeted Chiranjeevi at Heathrow Airport with heartfelt posters, showcasing their love and admiration for the megastar.
On the professional front, Chiranjeevi is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Vishwambhara, set to hit theatres in May, and will soon begin shooting for a project by Srikanth Odela, touted as the most intense role of his career.
