A tragic accident occurred in Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi district when a private bus veered off the road and tumbled down a hill near Kalkhar, leaving 15 passengers injured.
Local villagers were the first to respond, swiftly calling emergency services and helping rescue the trapped individuals. The injured have been transported to the government medical college and hospital in Nerchowk for treatment. Authorities have confirmed no casualties so far.
The incident took place at approximately 9 a.m. as the bus, travelling from Jahu in Hamirpur district to Mandi, lost control near Pattrighat. Heavy rainfall complicated the rescue operations, posing additional challenges to relief workers.
