Kim Taehyung, popularly known as V of BTS, made a fiery return just hours after completing his mandatory military service on June 11, leaving fans around the world stunned with his energy and confidence.
In a viral video shared by renowned choreographer Lee Jung, V is seen dancing effortlessly to a remix of “Don’t Drop That Thun Thun”. Dressed in camouflage pants and a casual T-shirt, the newly discharged idol displayed his trademark charisma and coolness. The caption, “& @thv MilitaryTwins,” captured the explosive energy of their first collaboration post-service.
Fans — known as ARMYs — flooded social media with excitement. One wrote, “WHAT THE HELL??? It’s been like two minutes since he came back??? And he’s so smooth with it??” Another said, “#KimTaehyung dancing in uniform… This #Taehyung is different — confident, no-nonsense, IDGAF kinda vibe. Loving TAE 2.0!”
Later that evening, V joined fellow BTS member RM for a Weverse Live, where he expressed heartfelt gratitude to fans. “To all the ARMYs who have waited for us in the military, I want to say I am truly, truly grateful. Please wait just a little longer — we’ll be back with an amazing performance,” V shared.
To mark the occasion, he also posted playful photos in uniform, including one with a cake reading “I am happy to be with you”, and another captioned “Love me tete”, showing his lighter, fun-loving side.
With six of the seven BTS members now discharged, anticipation for the group’s reunion is at an all-time high. Fans around the world are counting down to their official comeback — a moment that promises to be nothing short of iconic.
