The Bhubaneswar Smart City Limited (BSCL) organised a Technology and Innovation Workshop on the proposed Next‑Generation AI‑Powered Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC) and AI‑enabled CCTV Surveillance Project.
The workshop showcased cutting‑edge technologies from leading OEMs across India, spanning AI, video analytics, computer vision, GIS, digital twin, IoT, predictive analytics, intelligent surveillance and smart mobility. The solutions were tailored to Bhubaneswar’s needs, focusing on public safety, law and order, traffic management, emergency response and efficient urban operations.
BSCL Managing Director Chanchal Rana, IAS, Additional Director Soumya Ranjan Mohanty (STPI), DGM Technology (OCAC), senior police officials, BMC representatives and experts from technology institutions participated in the workshop. They engaged with OEMs on integration, scalability, reliability and practical application of the technologies.
The initiative aims not only to showcase emerging solutions but to develop a robust, integrated and future‑ready technology roadmap for Bhubaneswar, learning from global best practices and adapting them to local requirements.
The larger vision is to transform Bhubaneswar into a Safe City, positioning it among India’s leading urban centres in intelligent, technology‑driven and responsive governance.
