The peaceful village of Sarigada in Rayagada district was shaken after two family members of the Likitipada lady sarpanch were found murdered under mysterious circumstances.
The victims, identified as Agadhu Gamang (husband of the sarpanch) and Semera Gamang (father-in-law), were discovered at the village outskirts, raising alarm among the local residents.
Upon being informed, Padmapur police rushed to the scene and launched a detailed probe into the double homicide.
