Brown Sugar Seized In Bhubaneswar, Peddler Held

Bhubaneswar: Khandagiri police have arrested a person for peddling contrabands at the locality in Bhubaneswar. The arrestee has been identified as Abhijit Panda of Balasore district. According to police, Panda was running the drug smuggling racket in the Khandagiri area. Acting on a tip-off, police conducted a raid and arrested the accused. The cops also seized around 30 grams of brown sugar, two mobile phones, and Rs 6,000 from his possession, police said. There were several pending cases against the accused in different police stations.
