Jajpur: The body of a Plus III girl student was found dumped on Mulapal-Dialkhandi road under Rajendrapur Panchayat in Jajpur district under mysterious circumstances.
The deceased has been identified as  Jharaphula Nayak, resident of Marundeipasi village under Jashipur police limits in Mayurbhanj district. She was pursuing Plus III at Ramadevi Women’s University in the State capital Bhubaneswar.
According to available information, two youths brought the girl’s body on a scooter and fled the spot after dumping her on the roadside. In the meantime, locals who were working on their farmlands adjacent to the road rushed to the spot and found the girl dead.
On being informed by the locals, Jajpur Road Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) along with a team of Kuakhia Police rushed to the spot and initiated an investigation into the incident.
Notably, the entire act was recorded in a CCTV camera installed near the spot.
Sources said, the girl had gone to Bhubaneswar on January 24 and attended her class the next day.
