Two individuals were found dead under mysterious circumstances inside a house at Baghpali village under Bheden police limits in Odisha’s Bargarh district.
The deceased have been identified as Magha Bhue (55), the owner of the house, and Tarani Bag (35). Their blood-stained bodies were discovered early today, sending shockwaves through the local community.
Villagers suspect a violent altercation between the two led to the tragic event, though the exact cause remains unclear. Some believe Tarani may have attacked Magha first, prompting a retaliatory assault by Magha’s family members. However, police are investigating all angles before drawing conclusions.
Sources reveal that Tarani, known for his criminal background, had recently returned to the village after a long absence. Reportedly, he visited Magha’s house to consume liquor, as Magha was allegedly involved in the illegal liquor trade. A dispute during the drinking session is suspected to have escalated fatally.
Law enforcement has launched a probe into the case, questioning villagers and family members to reconstruct the sequence of events. Investigators are hopeful that further details will emerge in the coming days.
