The Odisha government is set to host the much-anticipated Odisha Krushi Mahakumbh – Krushi Odisha 2026 from January 22 to 24 at the Biju Patnaik Sports Ground in Baramunda, Bhubaneswar.

Jointly promoted by the state government and the Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment, this year’s edition promises to be even more extensive and grander than its predecessor, focusing on empowering farmers through innovation and collaboration.

Under the theme “Building Resilience through Inclusive Agriculture,” the event will serve as a vital confluence for thousands of farmers, agricultural scientists, researchers, and policymakers. Attendees can look forward to a range of interactive sessions, including agri-education camps designed to impart knowledge on advanced farming techniques and skills.

A highlight will be the modern agricultural machinery exhibition and live demonstrations, showcasing cutting-edge equipment, tools, and technologies aimed at enhancing productivity and sustainability in Odisha’s agrarian landscape.

The preparations for Krushi Odisha 2026 are in full swing, as discussed in a high-level meeting held today at Lok Seva Bhawan. Additional Chief Secretary of the Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment Department, Dr. Arabinda Kumar Padhee, briefed Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Agriculture, Farmers’ Empowerment, and Energy, Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, on the ongoing arrangements. Also present were Director of Horticulture Kalunge Gorakh Waman and other senior departmental officers.
