The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) unveiled the schedule for IPL 2026 Fan Parks, expanding the tournament’s reach beyond stadiums into 15 cities across 11 states.
Spread over three weekends starting March 28, the initiative will bring live match screenings and entertainment to fans in Rohtak, Bhopal, Nagpur, Tumakuru, Krishnanagar, and later to Mathura, Jodhpur, Bhubaneswar, Meerut, Coimbatore, and more.
Each venue will feature live match screenings alongside music performances, food stalls, children’s play zones, and interactive installations such as virtual batting zones and fan engagement booths. The rollout aligns with the early phase of the tournament, ensuring fans in smaller cities experience marquee clashes like Mumbai Indians vs Kolkata Knight Riders on March 29 and RCB vs Chennai Super Kings on April 5.
The IPL 2026 season begins March 28 with defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru hosting Sunrisers Hyderabad. This edition features 10 teams, an expanded 84-match schedule, and playoffs concluding on May 31. Rajasthan Royals will start their home leg in Guwahati, while RCB is expected to host select fixtures in Raipur.
The staggered announcement of fixtures comes amid upcoming State Assembly elections, which influence venue logistics and security. Fan Parks, meanwhile, highlight BCCI’s push to decentralise the IPL viewing experience, ensuring cricket fever reaches every corner of India.
