Bolangir: Police have busted an ATM looters’ gang with the arrest of three persons in Bolangir district. The arrestees have been identified as Prithvi Singh, Sumit, and Kuldeep from Haryana.
According to reports, the incident took place while one Sabyasachi Panda had gone to withdraw money from HDFC bank ATM when the accused persons reached the spot and tried to con him on the pretext of helping him.
After being aware of it, Sabyasachi alerted the locals who managed to overpower one of them, and handed him over to cops. However, the three of them managed to escape from the spot.
After pertinent efforts, police nabbed one of the accused from Deogaon while another from Titlagarh after tracing their phones. However one more accused is absconding. Further investigation is underway.
