IAS officer Ashni A L (RR-2023) has been assigned as Sub-Collector and Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Malkangiri district—marking a shift in administrative priorities following her Phase-II training completion.
Previously designated as Sub-Collector of Nabarangpur through notification No.25226 dated 24.07.2025, her appointment has now been rescinded. As per the latest directive issued on 01.08.2025, following the completion of her Phase-II training, Ms. Ashni A L assumes her new post in Malkangiri under the provisions of Section 14(4) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
The official communication, signed by Additional Secretary Debasis Singh, has been forwarded to all concerned departments and stakeholders for record and action. Her role is expected to play a vital part in strengthening administrative efficiency and grassroots governance in the tribal-dominated district.
