Army Chief Upendra Dwivedi Begins Three-Day Odisha Visit

Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi arrived in Bhubaneswar on Friday evening to begin his three-day Odisha tour.


General Dwivedi reached Bhubaneswar and stayed overnight at the 120 Battalion. His visit will continue until March 29, covering Bhubaneswar, Puri, and Gopalpur.

On Saturday morning, he will travel to Puri, where he will stay at the Sainik Sadan and visit the Jagannath Temple for darshan. Later, he will fly from Puri Talabania helipad to Gopalpur to attend programs at the Army Air Defence College.

At Gopalpur, the Army Chief will review training facilities, modern equipment, and operational systems. He will also interact with serving officers and veterans. The program includes a live firing demonstration at the field firing range and an exhibition of advanced defence equipment.
