Veteran Bollywood actor Anupam Kher has spoken out against terrorism, calling himself “a victim” and expressing his anguish over the Pahalgam attack.
In a recent statement, Kher praised India’s swift military response through Operation Sindoor, which targeted terrorist bases across the border.
Kher, known for his outspoken stance on national issues, reflected on the horrors faced by Kashmiri Pandits, including his own painful experiences. “I have seen terrorism firsthand, and every such attack reignites that trauma,” he stated. He lauded the Indian Army’s precision in executing the mission and acknowledged the government’s firm stance against terrorism.
The actor’s comments have sparked discussions across social media, with many supporting his call for a resolute approach to safeguarding national security.
Operation Sindoor comes in response to the recent surge in militant activities, with defence officials confirming that key terror hideouts were neutralised. Experts believe the operation signals India’s commitment to a no-tolerance policy against cross-border terrorism.
