Bolangir: Vehicular movement has been disrupted as locals have staged a road blockade at National Highway (NH-26)over a fatal accident.
The deceased has been identified as Ramesh Nag.
Reportedly, the incident occurred while Sarveshwar Sahu, Badamal outpost in-charge was returning from Titilagarh on his vehicle when it collided head-on with Ramesh’s vehicle. Subsequently, Ramesh died on spot.
Following the mishap, irate locals blocked the road demanding compensation for the family members of the deceased.
On receiving information, Saintala Tahsildar Surendranath Meher, IIC Abani Sahu reached the spot and tried to pacify the agitators.
