To encourage timely tax payments, the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has announced a 5% rebate for residents and property owners who pay their holding tax for the financial year 2025-26 in advance.

The discount is applicable for payments made online through the portal by April 30.

To ease the process, BMC has set up 22 revenue camps across the city: 13 in the southeast zone, 5 in the southwest zone, and 4 in the north zone. These camps will operate between 10 AM and 5 PM on all working days in April. Apart from making advance payments, property owners can also clear their outstanding dues at these camps.

This initiative is part of BMC’s broader efforts to meet its revenue targets of ₹119.5 crore from holding/property tax and ₹15.8 crore from advertisements.

Taxpayers are encouraged to take advantage of this limited-period offer to not only save money but also contribute to the city’s developmental projects.
