Following the completion of the electoral roll update based on the qualifying date of July 1, 2026, the final voter list under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2026 has been officially published across Khordha and Kataka districts.
In Khordha district, the initial draft roll published on July 5 registered 10,51,591 voters. After conducting hearings on claims and objections between July 5 and August 19, electoral authorities deleted 993 invalid entries and added 9,539 new voters. The final count for Khordha now stands at 10,60,137 voters, comprising 8,076 young electors (18–19 age group), 8,404 senior citizens above 85 years, and 16,678 voters with disabilities.
Similarly, Kataka district recorded a final total of 19,52,630 voters, including 10,11,814 male electors and 9,40,656 female electors. The revision process in Kataka saw the inclusion of 25,020 new voters and the deletion of 3,005 names belonging to deceased or duplicate entries.
Officials confirmed that the finalised electoral rolls are physically available for public inspection at the offices of Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) and Booth Level Officers (BLOs).
Citizens can also verify their names online through the Chief Electoral Officer, Odisha portal (ceoorissa.nic.in) or the Election Commission of India’s official website (voters.eci.gov.in).
District administrations have informed that further objections or appeals regarding the final list can be submitted to the respective District Collectors or the Chief Electoral Officer.
