Actor Gautam Gulati is the latest celebrity to enter Rise & Fall Season 2, bringing his trademark confidence and never-give-up attitude to the show’s Rulers vs Workers showdown.
In his reveal video, Gautam reflects on his journey of repeatedly rising after setbacks and makes it clear that he has his sights firmly set on ruling the Tower.
He compares himself to a ruler who may fall but never forgets how to rule.
“Just like a lion never forgets how to hunt, a ruler never forgets how to rule,” Gautam says in the promo. He adds that falling no longer hurts because he has become accustomed to rising again.
‘Gautam City’ in the Tower
Gautam also reflects on a journey in which he has often found himself standing alone, saying his biggest support has always been himself.
With his entry into the Tower, however, his focus appears to be firmly on taking control.
“Basement ho ya penthouse, kis bhi jagha ko Gautam City banane mein mujhe zyaada time nahi lagta,” he says in the reveal video.
The statement sets the tone for Gautam’s entry into the Rulers vs Workers game, where contestants must navigate shifting positions, alliances and challenges for power.
What is Rise & Fall Season 2 about?
Hosted by former India cricketer Virender Sehwag in his streaming hosting debut, Rise & Fall Season 2 divides contestants between the lavish Penthouse and the basic Basement.
The positions are not fixed, with contestants facing challenges and strategic twists that can change the balance of power.
Sehwag has compared the unpredictable nature of the show to cricket, saying that, like a match, the game can change until the very end and there are no easy wins.
Who else is entering the show?
Before Gautam Gulati’s entry, the makers had announced contestants including Swara Bhasker, Karan Patel and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary.
Tej Pratap Yadav, son of veteran Bihar politician Lalu Prasad Yadav and a former Bihar minister, is also part of the upcoming season.
A recent promo featuring the contestants showed them taking potshots at one another, setting the stage for the power struggles expected inside the Tower and Basement.
Rise & Fall Season 2 release date
Rise & Fall Season 2, hosted by Virender Sehwag, is scheduled to premiere on September 26.
With Gautam Gulati now joining the lineup, the Rulers vs Workers format is set to get another contestant who has already made his ambitions clear: turning the Tower into his own “Gautam City”.
