Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke has reacted to the FIR registered against him in Maharashtra’s Latur district in an unusual way, sharing a Kishore Kumar song and a meme featuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi on social media.

Dipke was booked along with CJP worker Ajinkya Shinde and other party members following allegations that they entered a Zilla Parishad Urdu school in Jawali, near Ausa, without permission.

Rather than issuing a lengthy statement, Dipke responded on X by sharing a video featuring a stanza from Kishore Kumar’s popular song ‘Yeh Jeevan Hai’.

The lyrics he shared included the line: “Yeh Jeevan Hai, Is Jeevan Ka, Yahi Hai Rungroop”, conveying the sentiment that this is simply the way life is.

Dipke also shared the FIR-related news on his Instagram Stories, adding a meme featuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi with the words “Oh my god.” He used the same Kishore Kumar song along with the post.

Why was Abhijeet Dipke booked?

According to the FIR, Dipke and his associates allegedly entered the government school premises without permission and interacted with students while raising questions about the school’s condition.

A teacher, identified as 53-year-old Sayyed Shamshadbano Khairatali, filed a complaint at the Ausa police station.

The complaint alleged that the group’s actions disrupted educational and official work and that teachers were allegedly threatened.

Dipke’s visit was part of the CJP’s ‘School Thik Karo’ campaign, which was launched on Independence Day, August 15.

CJP’s ‘School Thik Karo’ campaign faces hurdles

The campaign aims to highlight problems in government schools, but CJP volunteers have faced restrictions from authorities in different locations.

In Mumbai, civic authorities barred CJP volunteers from entering municipal schools without prior permission. Similar tensions were reported during a visit to a government school in Rajasthan, where CJP workers were allegedly attacked.

The Rajasthan government subsequently acknowledged that hundreds of schools were operating without their own buildings and ordered the construction of a new building for the school involved in the controversy.

Dipke’s latest social media posts have now added another twist to the ongoing dispute over the CJP’s school inspection campaign.
