In a decisive demonstration of zero tolerance towards corruption, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has dismissed Dr. Patitapaban Barik from government service.
The doctor, formerly the Medical Officer at Gurundia Community Health Centre (CHC) in Sundargarh district, was found guilty of corruption charges during his tenure there.
Dr. Barik is currently posted at Gurandi CHC in Gajapati district. The Chief Minister’s Office announced the action, underscoring the government’s unwavering commitment to clean administration.
“Corruption will not be tolerated at any level,” has been the consistent message from Chief Minister Majhi. He has directed officials across the administration to strictly enforce a zero-tolerance policy, making it clear that no corrupt officer will be spared.
