Odisha Development Commissioner Arabinda Padhee has written to the Jaipur Collector seeking intervention against a proposed Rath Yatra celebration in Jaipur on August 16.
Padhee said the proposed celebration is contrary to the established traditions and scriptural prescriptions associated with Lord Jagannath. His communication comes amid concerns over maintaining the traditional practices followed during the annual Rath Yatra.
