Universities and colleges have been directed to appoint a Nodal Officer for smooth implementation, preferably from the Commerce, Management, or Economics faculty.
In the first phase, the programme will be rolled out in 97 selected institutions within a 100‑kilometre radius of major cities including Bhubaneswar, Berhampur, Bhadrak, Dhenkanal, Jeypore, Kendrapara, Keonjhar, Rourkela, and Sambalpur.
Officials said the initiative will equip students with industry‑relevant financial skills, preparing them for careers in the banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI) sector.
