The Government of Odisha has directed all District Collectors to furnish detailed information on Gram Rozgar Sevaks (GRSs) who have completed five years or more of continuous service.
The Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water Department issued the official letter from Odisha Lok Seva Bhavan, Bhubaneswar, on July 10, 2026.
Under Secretary Smt. Namita Sahoo stated that the government aims to compile a consolidated database of long-serving GRSs for administrative and policy purposes. The directive follows earlier examinations regarding the absorption of eligible GRSs into Account-cum-Data Entry Operator (ADEO) posts.
District authorities must submit updated particulars—including name, parent’s name, gender, and social category—within 15 days. The information will help the state evaluate service regularisation proposals and strengthen rural employment administration.
