Two days after the IPL 2026 final, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) finally revealed what Virat Kohli told teenage batting sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi during their emotional interaction at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
The moment had already gone viral on social media. However, fans could only see the conversation and not hear it. Now, RCB has released the audio, giving cricket followers a glimpse into Kohli’s inspiring advice for the 15-year-old star.
Virat Kohli’s Special Advice to Vaibhav Sooryavanshi
In the 43-second clip, Kohli reminded Sooryavanshi that his remarkable success was built on hard work, discipline and self-belief.
“Yaha se upar jana hai. Jo huya hai woh achi mehnat aur belief ke wajah se huya. Kaun kya bol raha hai, kaise bol raha hai… Ek Bihari sab pe bhaari. Khatam game.”
Translated into English, Kohli’s message meant:
“From here, you only go higher. Everything that has happened is because of your hard work and belief. It doesn’t matter what people say or how they say it. A Bihari beats them all. End of story.”
The young Rajasthan Royals batter listened carefully as one of cricket’s greatest players shared words of encouragement.
RCB Shares Emotional Tribute
RCB also posted a heartfelt message alongside the video.
“The man who made Indian cricket fearless. The boy who bats fearless. The best piece of advice the 15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi could get. And who better than Virat Kohli to help fuel his fire in the right direction. Onwards and upwards, Vaibhav!”
