Out of 73,329 cases brought before the Lok Adalat, as many as 40,236 cases were amicably disposed of on the spot. The resolutions resulted in the recovery and settlement of Rs 8,84,83,650 through revenue, fines, and signed compromises.
The one-day camp handled a wide spectrum of matters, including compoundable criminal cases, cheque bounce disputes, bank recovery proceedings, motor vehicle accident claims, labour disputes, traffic challans, public utility issues, matrimonial cases (excluding divorce), land acquisition matters, revenue and civil suits, bank loan defaults, telephone and electricity bill disputes, as well as several pre-litigation cases.
