In a significant development surrounding the high-profile murder of former Health Minister Naba Das, his wife, Minati Das, has taken a firm step by requesting a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the case

She has contacted Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi via email and post, seeking a meeting to discuss the matter and request an official investigation.

This move aligns with earlier statements from Dipali Das, Naba Das’s daughter and former Jharsuguda MLA, who also expressed her intent to write to the Chief Minister for a CBI inquiry into her father’s death. The late minister’s son, Bishal Das, confirmed his mother’s communication with the Chief Minister to the media.

Adding to the momentum, BJP legislator Jayanarayan Mishra has vocally supported the demand for a CBI probe, intensifying the ongoing public discourse.

Meanwhile, Odisha’s Law Minister, Prithviraj Harichandan, suggested that the Das family formally submit a written request for the investigation to proceed.

The call for a CBI inquiry continues to stir debates and political attention, marking another chapter in this controversial and sensitive case.
