Union Minister Jitendra Singh hailed the accomplishment, emphasizing the continued support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which he said has been instrumental in keeping the morale high among ISRO scientists.
The SpaDeX mission was initiated on December 30 of the previous year, with two satellites, SDX01 and SDX02, being placed into orbit. After multiple attempts, the satellites were successfully docked on January 16, culminating in the recent de-docking success.
“This incredible achievement paves the way for the smooth conduct of our ambitious future missions,” Minister Singh said in a statement. “Congratulations to the ISRO team. This is a heartening moment for every Indian.”
