The Odisha Government has once again entrusted senior engineer Chandra Sekhar Padhi with key responsibilities in the Water Resources Department.
Padhi, who earlier served as Engineer-in-Chief, now takes charge as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) cum Engineer-in-Chief.
The department issued an official notification confirming his reappointment. The government emphasised continuity in leadership by extending Padhi’s role, ensuring the smooth functioning of critical water resource projects across the state.
Padhi’s earlier tenure had already been extended by the government, reflecting confidence in his expertise and administrative skills. His reappointment as OSD highlights the importance of experienced leadership in managing Odisha’s water infrastructure and development programs.
