IndiaAI and UN Women India launched a global call for nominations to showcase real-world AI solutions that promote gender equality, inclusion, and empowerment.
The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and UN Women India announced the initiative as part of preparations for the India–AI Impact Summit 2026.
The compendium, jointly developed by IndiaAI and UN Women India, will highlight measurable and verifiable AI applications that drive positive change for women and girls, particularly across the Global South. Moreover, it aims to provide innovators, researchers, and practitioners with a platform to present scalable AI-driven solutions.
Organisers designed the compendium as a knowledge-sharing resource for policymakers, development leaders, and industry experts. In addition, it will promote responsible, inclusive, and gender-responsive AI adoption aligned with global development priorities.
Innovators, researchers, practitioners, and domain experts who have implemented impactful AI solutions in sectors such as health, finance, climate resilience, safety, and education are invited to submit abstracts of up to 250 words by 15 December 2025. Furthermore, detailed guidelines and the application form are available on the IndiaAI official portal.
Shortlisted entries will contribute full chapters of 750–800 words to the final publication. Finally, the compendium, titled “Top 15 AI Solutions from the Global South”, will be unveiled at the India–AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi.
