Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi for approving the proposal to establish a new College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry at Chipilima in Sambalpur district.
In a post on X, Pradhan also thanked Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment KV Singh Deo for supporting the initiative. He stated that the college will play a pivotal role in strengthening animal husbandry and boosting the rural economy.

Pradhan emphasised that the institution will not only promote agricultural research in Sambalpur but also create significant opportunities for farmers, animal rearers, and students across Odisha.
