Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi honoured Utkal Keshari Dr. Harekrushna Mahatab on his birth anniversary by offering floral tributes at the statue inside the Odisha Legislative Assembly premises.
First, Majhi approached the statue of the legendary leader and bowed with reverence. Then, he placed a bouquet of flowers at the memorial and expressed deep respect for Mahatab’s contributions to Odisha’s political, cultural, and social landscape.
Moreover, Dr. Harekrushna Mahatab, fondly remembered as Utkal Keshari, played a pivotal role in shaping modern Odisha. He served as the Chief Minister of Odisha and also contributed significantly to India’s freedom struggle. His leadership inspired generations, and his vision for Odisha continues to guide the state’s progress.
Additionally, Majhi highlighted Mahatab’s enduring legacy and acknowledged his role in strengthening democratic values. He emphasised that Mahatab’s dedication to the people of Odisha remains a source of inspiration for leaders and citizens alike.
