In a heartening message on World Wildlife Day, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi highlighted the rise in populations of tigers, leopards, and rhinos over the past decade.


The Prime Minister emphasized India’s deep commitment to wildlife conservation and sustainable habitat development.

The Prime Minister’s message resonates with ongoing efforts and initiatives aimed at protecting and nurturing wildlife across the country. This positive trend reflects India’s dedication to preserving its rich biodiversity and natural heritage.

In a post on X, he wrote:

“Over the last decade, the population of tigers, leopards, rhinos have risen too, indicating how deeply we cherish wildlife and are working to build sustainable habitats for animals. #WorldWildlifeDay”
