Actor Ranveer Singh is back in an action-packed avatar—this time, not for a movie but a massive advertisement for Ching’s Desi Chinese.
The ad, titled Agent Ching Attack, is directed by Atlee, known for his blockbuster Jawan (2023), and reportedly made on a ₹150-crore budget.
The ad also stars Sreeleela as the leading lady and Bobby Deol as the villainous professor. The high-octane commercial will premiere on Sunday, October 19.
A fiery new action ad
Ranveer shared a teaser of the ad on social media, giving fans a glimpse of his dynamic spy character.
“The ad campaign for Ching’s Desi Chinese, featuring Ranveer Singh, Bobby Deol, and Sreeleela, is among the biggest ever executed,” said an industry insider.
“With Atlee at the helm and a budget of around ₹150 crore, it rivals several recent Bollywood blockbusters.”
Bigger than many Bollywood films
The scale of the Agent Ching Attack campaign has reportedly surpassed the budgets of many feature films.
For comparison, Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava was made on a ₹130-crore budget, while Raid 2 cost ₹120 crore. Even hits like Stree 2 (₹60 crore) and Saiyaara (₹45 crore) fall short of the ad’s production value.
With its massive budget, Agent Ching Attack is being hailed as one of India’s costliest ad films ever.
Ranveer’s long association with Ching’s
This is not Ranveer’s first collaboration with Ching’s. He has appeared in multiple commercials for the brand, including a popular short film directed by Rohit Shetty. He also featured alongside Tamannaah Bhatia in an instant noodles ad for the same brand.
Ranveer’s energetic screen presence and comic timing have long made him a favourite face of the brand’s quirky campaigns.
Ranveer Singh’s upcoming projects
On the film front, Ranveer is gearing up for his next big release, Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar. The movie also stars Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal.
The film’s lyrical title track, released on October 16, has received an enthusiastic response from fans. Dhurandhar is scheduled to hit theatres on December 5.
Ranveer was last seen in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again alongside Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, and Tiger Shroff.
