Odisha Vigilance arrested Kishore Kumar Sahani, Senior Assistant at City Hospital under the office of the Chief District Medical Officer (CDMO), Cuttack, in connection with a disproportionate assets (DA) case.
Sahani was found in possession of assets vastly exceeding his known sources of income. During extensive searches conducted at multiple locations linked to him, Vigilance officials uncovered:

19 high-value plots

Cash amounting to ₹3.30 lakh

135 grams of gold

Bank and other deposits exceeding ₹55.48 lakh
The assets were deemed disproportionate and Sahani failed to provide a satisfactory explanation for their acquisition.
A case has been registered against him under Cuttack Vigilance PS Case No. 25/2025. He was placed under arrest and will be produced before the Court of the Special Judge, Vigilance, Cuttack later today.
