Manchester United has officially signed Slovenian forward Benjamin Šeško from RB Leipzig on a five-year contract, securing his services until 2030.
The 22-year-old, widely regarded as one of Europe’s most promising young strikers, becomes United’s fourth summer signing following Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbuemo, and Diego Leon.
Šeško netted 13 goals in 33 Bundesliga appearances during the 2024–25 season, finishing ninth in the golden boot race. Since his move from RB Salzburg to Leipzig in 2023, he has tallied 27 goals across 64 matches, including six in the UEFA Champions League.
Internationally, Šeško has scored 16 goals in 41 appearances for Slovenia, contributing to their Round of 16 run in EURO 2024. Despite a modest goal-per-game ratio, his youth and potential make him a strategic long-term investment for Manchester United.
With this signing, United aims to bolster its attacking depth and build a squad capable of challenging for top honours in domestic and European competitions.
