Bhubaneswar: The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) has announced the commencement of the online enrollment process for the academic year 2024-25. Students aspiring to join the +2 1st year in Arts, Science, Commerce, Sub-Science and Vocational courses can apply through the SAMS portal from Friday.
The Common Application Form (CAF) will be available at www.samsodisha.gov.in from 11 am onwards. Registration will be open for students till July 6. The first merit list will be released on July 18 at 11:45 am and the enrollment of eligible students will take place from July 19 to 23.
The second merit list will be published on August 1, and the reporting time will remain from August 2 to 6. For spot enrollment, a choice locking facility will be available to students on August 7 and 8. The spot selection list will be released on August 14.
According to a notification from the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education, classes for +2 1st year students will commence from August 1, before the registration process concludes.
For the academic year 2024-25, a total of 5,25,465 seats are available across 2,121 plus two colleges in the state. As per the decision, enrollment will be open for 2,94,840 seats in Arts, 1,66,929 in Science, 40,104 in Commerce, 13,088 in Sanskrit and 10,504 in Vocational courses of Higher Secondary Education.
This year, the registration process will be conducted online only.
