17 Injured As School Bus Collides Head-On With Truck In Jharsuguda

Jharsuguda : As many as 17 people sustained injuries after a school bus collided head-on with a truck on NH 49 near Gidghara chhak in Jharsuguda district on Wednesday. As per reports, the accident occurred while the school bus carrying about 25 teachers and staff was on its way to Bandhabahal. While the bus driver was trying to overtake another vehicle, a truck coming from the opposite side crashed into it. Locals first noticed this and informed the police. The police then rushed to the spot and rescued the injured persons. The critically injured people were admitted to the Jharsuguda hospital and the other injured persons have been admitted to the Brajarajnagar CHC.
