Prime Minister Narendra Modi has once again been ranked as the world’s most trusted democratic leader, securing a 75% approval rating, according to the Morning Consult Global Leader Approval Tracker. South Korean President Lee Jae Myung followed at 59%, while US President Donald Trump ranked 8th with 44%.
The survey, conducted between July 4 and 10, 2025, measures public approval of democratic leaders worldwide. Three out of four respondents rated Modi positively, with only 18% expressing disapproval. Modi’s high global standing comes a year after his re-election for a third consecutive term in May 2024.

BJP IT cell chief Amit Malviya praised Modi’s leadership, calling him “the highest-rated and most trusted leader worldwide.” Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal also lauded Modi, stating that his “decisive leadership ensures Bharat’s rise and global respect.”
