To enhance passenger convenience, the East Coast Railway has announced the temporary addition of AC-3 Tier coaches to the Rajdhani and Rajyarani Express trains. This initiative aims to provide a more comfortable and seamless travel experience during this peak demand period.
The Bhubaneswar–New Delhi–Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express will have one additional AC-3 Tier coach added on the following dates: from Bhubaneswar on the 8th and 11th of July 2025, and from New Delhi on the 9th and 12th of July 2025.
Additionally, the Rourkela–Gunupur–Rourkela Rajyarani Express will be augmented daily with one extra AC-3 Tier coach from Rourkela from the 3rd to the 9th of July 2025, and from Gunupur from the 4th to the 10th of July 2025.
This temporary measure is aimed at alleviating the extra passenger rush and ensuring smoother travel during this busy time. Passengers are encouraged to plan their journeys accordingly and take note of the additional accommodation options available.
