Bhubaneswar: The second phase of the Budget session of Odisha Assembly entered day 5 on Wednesday. However, pandemonium continued to prevail in the House due to uproar by opposition Congress and BJP members over irregularities in paddy procurement.
Both the ruling and the Opposition members created ruckus in the House, forcing the Speaker Surjya Narayan Patro to adjourn the House till 4 pm.
Soon after the adjournment, BJD member went on a rally to Raj Bhawan and submitted a memorandum to Governor Ganeshi Lal requesting him to direct the BJP member to tender an unconditional apology while Opposition groups called for a boycott of the assembly and demanded an immediate end.
