The first look of Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, featuring Shanaya Kapoor and Vikrant Massey, has officially been unveiled—marking the much-anticipated acting debut of Shanaya.
The romantic poster, set against the soft glow of a carousel ride, shows the two leads lost in a moment, eyes closed, and leaning into each other as they sit together on a merry-go-round horse.
Dressed in a red sequined gown with a thigh-high slit, Shanaya exudes glamour, holding a pair of sunglasses in hand. Vikrant complements her in a casual brown jacket and trousers, gently holding her hand in the intimate scene. The warm golden lights in the background set a fairytale tone.
The film, directed by a yet-to-be-revealed team, is scheduled for release in July 2025.
Shanaya’s parents, Maheep and Sanjay Kapoor, showed their support on social media. Maheep dropped heart emojis under the post, while Sanjay wrote, “God is kind.” Actor Abhay Verma also commented, “This poster represents a lot of dreams! Can’t fathom how magical the film’s going to be.”
However, the poster has drawn mixed reactions online. While many praised the film’s romantic aesthetics and expressed excitement over the fresh pairing, others pointed out the 13-year age gap between Vikrant (38) and Shanaya (25), sparking debates around casting choices and on-screen chemistry.
Whether the film wins hearts remains to be seen, but it’s clear that Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan has already stirred up conversation ahead of its release.
