Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the much-anticipated Rising North East Investors Summit 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
The summit serves as a strategic initiative to attract investments and foster economic growth in the Northeast region.
Addressing the gathering, PM Modi highlighted the unparalleled diversity and potential of the Northeast, describing it as the ‘Front-Runner of Growth’. He reiterated the government’s commitment to empowering the region with world-class infrastructure, connectivity, and opportunities for trade and investment.
The summit features key stakeholders, industry leaders, and policymakers engaging in discussions on tourism, agriculture, healthcare, energy, IT, logistics, and skill development. The Northeast’s increasing integration with global markets and its role in India’s Act East policy were prominently highlighted.
With extensive investments planned in energy, semiconductors, tourism, and organic farming, PM Modi underscored the ‘EAST’ vision—Empower, Act, Strengthen, and Transform—to solidify the Northeast’s role in India’s economic trajectory.
