Sundergarh: A man allegedly killed his wife over a minor altercation in Deogaon area of Sundergarh district on Monday.
The deceased woman has been identified as Manju Sandil.
According to reports, a verbal spat ensued between the husband and wife. Irked over the matter, the husband attacked Manju.
On hearing Manju’s screams, the neighbours reached the spot and found Manju in a pool of blood.
They immediately rushed Manju to the nearby hospital. However, the doctors declared her brought dead.
On getting information, police reached the spot and detained the accused husband. Further investigation is underway in this regard.
