Bhubaneswar: It was an evening of delight for the citizens in the temple city Bhubaneswar, as a packed crowd got groovy to the peppy songs performed by singer-cum-actor Shirley Setia at the Live Concert organised by 93.5 RED FM at Utkal Mandap on Saturday (Oct 8)
Shirley, who is on her maiden trip to Bhubaneswar, Odisha, was overwhelmed to perform with her band at the RED LIVE – “SUPERHIT SHANIVAAR WITH SHIRLEY SETIA”. She mesmerised the audience as she went on to sing “Nikamma”, “Ghunghroo”, “Bang Bang”, & “O Humdum Suniyo Re”.
The singing sensation, who is now also an actor, shared that this is the first time she is visiting Odisha. Shirley said that she was too much excited to see the responses and reactions of the audience.
She then went on the sing “Tere Naal Rehniya” a song released last year on her YouTube channel. The track was followed by “Naiyo Jana”, Kesariya for Brahmastra and “Kaisa Hua” which massive audience response.
Shirley also delivered renditions of “Zara Zara” and “Chura Liya Hai Tumne Jo Dil Ko” which were on-demand songs coming from the fans and audience.
The live performance was a blend of retro, the 90s, jazz and pops, the audience especially the young mass could not hold it together and went on the shake a leg as the singer kept performing remixes from different genres of songs.
As the concert came to an end, Shirley and the band performed the “Disco Disco” (A Gentleman) for which the audience had been waiting for so long. The craze among fans and the audience was quite noticeable with loud cheers and all dancing to the energetic beats.
