New York: Over 20 lakh people succumbed to coronavirus across the world so far, according to Johns Hopkins University.
The reports said the US and Brazil are the worst affected nations with nearly four lakh and over two lakh virus-related deaths.
The latest coronaviurs bulletin by Johns Hopkins University said nearly 20,02,468 people have died due to the dreaded disease.
A total of 9.35 crore people were infected with the virus till now since the outbreak began in December 2019 from the Chinese city of Wuhan.
The US has reported the highest number of coronavirus cases and deaths. Over 2.3 crore cases and 3.9 lakh deaths were reported in the country so far.
Brazil closely follows the US in terms of virus-related deaths. The South American country has confirmed that over 83 lakh people have tested positive while 2.07 lakh people have succumbed to the disease.
