The overall flood situation in Odisha’s Ganjam district has shown significant improvement, with floodwaters receding across affected regions and public life gradually returning to normalcy.
Vehicular traffic along the National Highway passing through Hinjilicut has completely resumed after floodwaters cleared key road stretches.
Meanwhile, extensive post-flood cleanup and sanitation drives are underway in Aska town to clear accumulated sludge, mud, and debris left behind by receding rivers.
The Ganjam district administration has deployed dedicated teams to speed up restoration, prevent waterborne disease outbreaks, and ensure a swift return to daily routines for residents.
